Which City of Boston employee is your unsung hero?
Help us honor exceptional City of Boston employees for their dedicated service to Boston. The Research Bureau is now seeking nominations for the 33rd annual Henry L. Shattuck Public Service Awards.
The Shattuck Awards are given to selected city employees for their extraordinary service to the City and the public. These are the unsung heroes that make the City work. These Awards signify that public service is an honorable profession that should be celebrated.
Over the past 32 years, Shattuck Award recipients have held positions ranging from janitors, administrative assistants, analysts, supervisors managers, teachers, police officers and firefighters.
Please complete the nomination form found here and your supporting statement(s) explaining why your nominee is deserving of receiving a Shattuck Award in 2018. Other supporting statements are encouraged. The Shattuck Selection Committee relies heavily on these statements in making its selections.
